This project developed a commercialization strategy for a start-up designing advanced solid-state battery (SSB) systems for the micro-mobility market, focusing on improved range and safety over traditional lithium-ion batteries. It included an in-depth market analysis, highlighting the potential and challenges in the EV battery sector, and proposed innovative thermal management solutions using air-cooling and phase-change-material (PCM) techniques. The plan also detailed a comprehensive approach to product development, from power requirement calculations to optimal cooling design using computational-fluid-dynamics (CFD), and outlined a strategic marketing and financial plan, exploring various revenue models including partnerships and Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS).
